This was a great picture of the males in my immediate family. I think it typefies some of our characteristics. Dad, Chris, Scottie and me. Sorry I don't have image enhancement. Which by the way I don't really believe in. They make it look way too effective on CSI.

Ready for school

Ella puts on her own backpack now. We have started her on some Vector Calculus, so she should be ready for school soon. Sorry I haven't updated recently I couldn't get the computer to recognize the "add image" page for a while, and since most of you aren't here for my clever loquacity (loquatiousness?), I didn't put anything up.

Ella walking

Here is a little clip of Ella walking and playing catch. She is really getting around now. She started about 3 months ago, at 11 months and something. I don't know why there are 3 screens, just click on one of them. I'm not doing this again."><" border="0" alt="" />

Hee hee

I did wash the window... after I caught her doing this the first time.

Beautiful Batstone babes

Erin and Ella got to hang out this past Saturday at the Huntington Library in Pasedena (San Marino?). Left to right, Laura, Katherine, Aunt Nancy, sister Susie, Mom, Erin and Ella. Aunt Kathy is behind the camera (thank you for the pics!).

They had some 'high' tea inside.

And then explored the beautiful and extensive gardens.

Katherine and Ella.

Futbol

So I'm coaching the frosh soph team at Compton High. Today I went up to LA and picked up a bunch of donated materials from a soccer company called fold-a-goal. The owner is coaching at Dorsey High in LA, definitely a needy high school as well. He gave us a bunch of stuff, and it was just encouraging to see people out there who are doing good things. Sweet.

Modeling behavior

Here Erin is modeling good reading with The Great Gatsby. Ella is following suit with Baby words.

Beauty Queen

So Ella has taken to draping herself with things, looking in the mirror and waving. Is this normal for a one year old? I'm concerned. The top picture is my tie and the bottom is a necklace of Erin's.

Shoes

I'm a little worried about how much she likes shoes. She usually puts her foot in one of Erin's shoes and hobbles around. We find our shoes everywhere they're not supposed to be. At one point we had six shoes of hers without a pair. She hides them somewhere, we think.

Mr. Mom

Ella seems a little worried here that she has to stay home with me now.

At the beach

I like this picture. Ella and I at Venice Beach.
